Save the Date Cards
Save the date cards are given to your guests to advise them that they will be receiving an invitation to join you on their wedding day. We recommend to send save the date cards around twelve months before the wedding, the cards are simple and usually just give the date and inform of the formal invitation to follow...
Invitations
Day invitations are generally given to your guests about six months before the wedding, they are packed with all the information that guests would need for the day.
-
Menu Card with RSVP - If on your wedding day you want to offer your guests options for the Wedding Breakfast we can provide menu cards with tick boxes for their choices, guest names are added to these for you as they are on the invitation.
-
Gift Card - The one question all guests will ask is "what gift would you like?" in modern times most couples will request a cash alternative to a gift, we have the perfect poems for you to choose from or alternatively you may have your own or a gift list of items you would like to start married life with.
-
Information Card - We can also include in the invitation a card giving guests information on accommodation at or near your venue or transport that has been arranged.
Evening invitations are generally given to your guests about four months before the wedding, this allows time for your day guests to reply before they go out. Evening invitations tend to be more basic in style and content than the day invitations although they carry the colour and scheme through as all the wedding stationery does. The RSVP on the evening invitation tends to be less formal so a telephone number is often used.
Wedding Day Stationery
On your big day, stationery is in the form of table place setting cards and table seating plan.
A table seating plan will be placed at the entrance to the wedding reception, at this point guests will locate their name easing the search for their table by looking for the corresponding table number from the plan and on the table.
When guests arrive at the allocated table, in front of each place setting will be a card of some form, whether a tent card, menu card, favour tag or another idea, this will include the guest name and indicate the seat chosen for them.
